Ephesians. 2:13-22 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Three main thoughts were covered:
- Not seeking or ignoring where you stand with God will not only separate you from God, but can put some in a state of mind where they won't even know they are separated.
- Being out of balance. For example, believing Jesus exists and stopping there without fully seeking his will. There's belief, repentance, grace, and through grace salvation. To stay connected, seek God's will and suppress yours.
- Some become dissatisfied with salvation and want something new to spice up their lives. They seek signs and wonders, turning to false prophets and separating themselves from God instead of letting faith be their spiritual adrenalin.
